Attorneys may also write legal letters and wills for you if your plan allows for this. Chances are that at some time over the next year you'll need to seek legal advice on an issue. Prepaid Legal Services help you reduce the financial burden, and worry, usually associated with legal matters leaving you to the better things in life. Q. Do I have to pay more if I want my family covered on my plan? A. No. With your membership, you and your spouse are covered as well as all unmarried children which you are responsible for in the eyes of the law. Children are covered up to the age of 23 if attending college full time, or up to 21 if living at home. Physically or mentally challenged children are covered regardless of age. Q. Am I tied into a long term commitment? A. No, your contract is month to month, this leaves it up to you to decide whether you are happy with the service you receive from your Pre-Paid Legal plan. If you do decide at any time -- for any reason, to cancel your membership, just notify the Corporate Office in writing and your services will end immediately. Q. What if I require help while away from home? A. If you are away from home, just contact your provider firm and they will put you in contact with an attorney. Q. Who is covered under these plans? A. The Plan covers you, as the primary member, your spouse, and your unmarried dependent children under the age of 18, residing at your home. Unmarried college students are covered up to the age of 25. Q. How do I use the service? A. Once you become a member of the Legal Services, you will have access to a toll free number made available to members to contact an attorney in regard to your matter. With the additional beneifits, you can locate a participating provider using this web site or call Customer Support at 877-867-5423. After locating a participating provider, call their office to verify their participation and to schedule an appointment. At the time of visit, present the Liberty MedPack membership card. The card contains information necessary for the billing office to obtain the discounted rates. Q. Are there any contracts or terms in order to join? A. No, there are no contract terms. You can cancel, downgrade or upgrade your plan at ANYTIME. Q. Can I become a Member and an Authorized Agent? A. A Member is an individual or business owner who enrolls in a plan to use the benefits in regard to their legal matter or other benefits. An Authorized Agent is an individual or business entity who wishes to generate revenue by selling the service plans. Q. Can this plan assist me with my legal problem? A. Yes. The plans are designed to provide you with free and reduced services. You will have access to an attorney for consultation, review of documents in addition to all the other free and reduced rates. |

| Q. When I call for an attorney, what will happen? A. When you need an attorney, you call the member only toll free number. You then provide the customer service representative with your membership number. Your matter will be assigned to an attorney according to your location and area of law that you need assistance in. You can then discuss your legal situation or questions with one of over 20,000 qualified attorneys. Q. How do you select your attorneys? A. Subject to a careful screening process, attorney candidates must qualify within a set of guidelines before they will be considered. We evaluate their standing with State Bar or the appropriate attorney regulatory authority. Q. Will I have access to an 800 number for matters with my account or legal help? A. Yes. When you need to update your account or have question on your account, you can access the member toll free number for assistance. Members also have access to a toll free number to request assistance from an attorney. Q. What do I have to pay in addition to my monthly fee? A. Participating in the Liberty plan does not mean you will never pay legal fees again. The program covers the most frequently needed and used legal services. Should you need to retain the attorney for representation, you will be asked to sign an agreement and pay a retainer fee. This fee varies based upon the case and its merits. The program covers legal fees. Fines, court costs, document and filing fees are additional. |
